Fernando, como andas? Estuve buscando configuraciones y tips para el OBC que instale y me encontre con algunas cositas...
Hice la prueba de saber que version tengo instalada y me da que tengo la 3 .8TYP la cual pertenece a un 325e!!! y yo tengo un 325i del 90!
buscando me encontre que estuviste averiguando sobre este tema en http://www.bmwfaq.com/f13/preguntas-obc-de-e30-323147/ ese foro
En que me cambia la que tengo? si tuvise que buscar la que es para mi modelo, que busco? se le puede cambiar algo a esta?
Ojala me puedas dar una mano a entender esto...

if you look at your e30 OBC. u will see that there are little numbers at the bottom 1000, 100, 10 and 1.

if you press 1000 and 1 at the same time with the car running it will show you the amount of petrol left in litres. and if you press 100 and 1 it will show you the OBC type. this number corresponds with the number physically on the OBC. interesting ha. i"ll feel really stupid if this stuff is in the owners manual, i hope not.

dont rely on the litres thing its very very inaccurate. who cares though these cars are over 20yrs old(mine is still a teenager biggrin.gif ).

i think these cars were very advanced for their time. the Fuctionalty is amazing. better than most new cars. I LOVE E30"S

" Did you know that your BMW 3 Series has an internal diagnostic program built into the computer? Not many people know about this. On the BMW 3 Series, there is a way that you can diagnose common engine problems without having to purchase a code tool or take it to the dealer to have it scanned. This is one of those neat little features of the Service Indicator Computer; the series of lights directly under the tachometer and speedometer that remind you to change the oil and perform service. In this tech article, I will provide you with the procedure for checking the fault codes and what the codes mean. This guide will help you to diagnose any possible problems with your car.
This article is written for both the BMW E30 and E36 3 Series cars (up to 95) and should work on both models where a Service Indicator Computer is used. I will go over the small differences between the early and late cars, as they differ slightly. Keep in mind that this procedure will not work on early cars with Motronic 1.1.
Now on the E30 models, get in the car and put the key in the ignition and turn it to the second turn or ?ON? position, but do not start the car. Now, press the accelerator pedal all the way to the floor, then let it release all the way back. Now repeat the depress/release cycle 4 more times fairly quickly, but not too fast. It may take some time to get this timing down correct. It should only take you a few seconds to do this. What this does is activate the wide-open throttle switch and the idle switch 5 times. This then sends a signal to the Motronic ECU to send fault codes to the Service Indicator Light.
On the E36 models, the procedure works the same way, but the timing at which you press/release the gas pedal is faster than on the E30. Just keep at it, and you will eventually get the correct speed.
Watch the ?Check Engine? light. It should blink once, and then start blinking a series of four numbers. For instance, say this is a sequence you see? the light blinks once, then twice, then four times and lastly four times. If you read it correctly this means that the SI light is reading out the code 1244 (faulty camshaft sensor) The codes appear as a series of flashes for each digit. The flashes indicating one digit are about one second apart, the next digit will appear after a couple seconds interval. If there are no faults in the car, the computer will flash out the number 1444.

Yo llevo la misma pastilla, realmente la diferencia es minima, ya que esa pastilla calcula el consumo tipo de un E30 325e, que es sensiblemente mayor que los nuestros. Lo que sucede, es que te muestra un rendimiento de combustible algo mayor al real, pero poco perceptible. El mio lleva esa misma pastilla y funciona de maravilla. Quie comprar la qque corresponde a mi modelo, y ya esaba ordenada y pagada, cuando me avisaron que ya estaban NLA, asi que deje la de 3.8

nicoooooooo que d+++++++ por dios. te felicito loco. Pasas a ser mi idolo ahora JEJE. Te cuento que eh buscado por ebuy varias veces esa compu y no la eh encontrado. Me alegro que te aya aparecido la tuya. Si sabes de otra avisame je. Lo de la suspension no me para para comprarle una JEJE. La verdad que queda divino el tablero con la compu. Yo ya tengo la radio original y los tweeters. Le tengo que meter esa compu y puede quedar una locura.
Me alegro pila que la tengas y te funcione todo OK. Cuando encuentre una la compro y te aviso para que me ayudes a instalarla, si es que podes.

Charly!! que haces!? gracias por los elogios, pero la mayoría de estos son para Gabriel, gpmnc, que es mi hermano mayor el cual se animas a destripar todo el tablero. De igual esta de mas decirte que si te doy una mano, mas bien.
No le tengas miedo, no hay como equivocarse en la instalación ya que cada switch que conectas va con su única pareja.!!
Ahi Gastón te mando una!! La mía la compre por ebay a un tal Jose Antonio!, un latino en miami! un fenómeno. Me envió el paquete con todo el OBC completo, funcionando y por 15usd me envió el acrílico del tablero que lo tenía rayado y quebrado en una esquina.
Me lo envió y le cambio el costo del paquete poniendo 32 dólares!! je

Fernando, probe apretar el 1000 y el 1 al mismo tiempo y me da los litros!! Lo raro es que le llene el tanque y me pone que tengo 36 litros!! mmm
eso no me anda muy bien creo! el tuyo marca correcto?

Lastiima que en mi E21, no sea de origen , pues estaria bueno ponerle OBC.

Chicos, vuelvo con este tema porque justamente me traje una OBC de USA y la quiero instalar en mi 325 post.-, si alguien sabe quien hace ese trabajito y bien, me avisa.

si no llueve el sabado andate para casa temprano que la colocamos , no es dificil pero lleva un rato y mas con el cliente adelante nada de martillos , cuchillos tramontina ni cosas de esas ......... todo depende de cuanto pague el cliente

pa ni idea de lo q puso el meca., no llegue a verlo ., en fin.. volviendo con este tema y viendo un poco los post anteriores........Gabriel, yo solo tengo la computadora con los cables...no tengo ninguna pieza más...a mi me dijeron que el auto ya viene con los sensores., pero veo q es mas complejo de lo que pensaba....
